Wedding Photography Without a Traditional Ceremony
Written By Chathuri Perera
Not every wedding needs to follow a traditional script.
A ceremony or elopement may happen privately, before the celebration, or somewhere entirely of its own. That leaves the rest of the day open to what matters to you — getting ready, making time for portraits, and celebrating with the people you love.
There are no hard-and-fast rules for how a wedding day should unfold. It should fit your life, your people, and the way you want to celebrate.
For this Toronto wedding, the day moved from getting ready, to portraits at Allen Gardens, and into a lively celebration at Fusion Banquet Hall. Some moments were gently guided; most were simply allowed to happen.
Because your wedding doesn't have to look like anyone else's to be worth remembering.
